Bureau Veritas received CQI and IRCA approval to deliver Lead Auditor Course for FSSC 22000 v5.1

In November 2020, the Foundation FSSC 22000 released the new version of FSSC 22000 Scheme v5.1 and since March of 2021, the certification process of this standard is based on this new edition that introduces important new features (read more about the main changes here).
Following this new structure, Bureau Veritas received approval from Chartered Quality Institute and The International Register of Certificated Auditors (CQI and IRCA) to deliver Lead Auditor Training on FSSC 22000 v5.1. This CQI and IRCA certified FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor Training Course is developed and delivered by Bureau Veritas worldwide, either in classroom or online, and provides aspiring professionals with the knowledge and skills required to perform 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audit of a Food Safety Management systems (FSMS ) based on ISO 22000:2018 Standard in accordance with ISO 19011 & ISO/IEC 17021 as applicable.
The course has been designed in a way to ensure that participants get exposure to actual auditing practices, grasp proper interpretation of the requirements, and apply their knowledge in a real-time audit scenario. Prior knowledge related to FD128: ISO 22000:2018 Foundation (FSMS) is recommended. During this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the principles of food safety management including prerequisite programs as specified in ISO/TS 22002 (All parts) and HACCP
- Understand the relationship between food safety management and the provision of safe food products to prevent or minimize adverse effects on human health and the proactive improvement of food safety performance
- Learn common examples of relevant national and local FSMS legislation and requirements of ISO 22000:2018
