Bureau Veritas has updated its UKAS accreditation to offer certification to ISO 22301:2019

Bureau Veritas has updated its UKAS accreditation to offer certification to the latest, 2019 version of, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems. This means that companies can receive consistently high quality audits to the new version of the standard.

Those who are already certified to the 2012 version of the standard have until  October 31st, 2022 to transition to the new version. This international Business Continuity Management System standard helps companies identify areas of risk, build contingency plans, train staff to prepare for possible disruptions to enhance resilience to reduce the frequency and severity of any disruptions to their business as usual.

Certification to ISO 22301 embeds the business continuity practices in the organization and enhances transparency, reassuring its key stakeholders of its reliability, resilience and ability to bounce back after a disruption. Almost 1,700 companies have chosen to be certified to ISO 22301 globally according to the latest ISO survey, up 12% on the previous years’ survey.
