Bureau Veritas has received the upgrade of the global UKAS accreditation for ISO 22000:2018

ISO 22000:2018 transition period will end on June 29th 2021 for any current ISO 22000:2005 certified organization. The new version has now integrated the High Level Structure approach enabling a full integration with other management systems, a risk approach and clarified the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, by having two separate cycles in the standard working together: one covering the management system and the other, covering the principles of HACCP.
2020 will be the main year to plan a transition on time and ensure a right implementation of the new expectations. Moreover all FSSC22000 certified organisation will also have to upgrade to version 5 of the standard in 2020 which integrate all the ISO 22000:2018 update.
