VDA 6.3 Process Audit standard has been developed by VDA (German Automotive Quality Association) as part of all VDA 6.X family of standards. Being complementary with IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System certification, VDA 6.3 Process Audit evaluates industrial process and organizations in order to demonstrate their performance as high-level automotive suppliers respecting the state of the art in term of automotive part industrial process management for both high product quality and performance.

This objective evaluation helps to demonstrate to German Car Manufacturers, especially premium ones, that suppliers are able to deliver highly qualitative and performance parts/systems.
