AIAG and VDA have worked together for several months in order to converge on a shared approach and methodology for managing FMEA activities related to product and manufacturing process design. As a result, they published a new FMEA Handbook in September 2019 and we are pleased to give you the first introduction to this new version.The new AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook, 1st Edition promotes the utility of a process-oriented methodology to help suppliers meet the product performance requirements of global automakers.

During this webinar our technical expert Mr. Thomas Scherg helps you get familiar with the new 7-Step approach to FMEA development, which provides a framework for documenting technical risks. Thomas Scherg, works for QMH Consulting and has been a part of the VDA writing team for the new FMEA Handbook.
