WEBINAR: ISO 26262 Automotive & Functional Safety
AUTOMOTIVE & FUNCTIONAL SAFETY
Over the past decade, vehicles have become more complex with software embedded functions for safety purposes. ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems) are increasingly present in our modern cars and are drawing the path to Autonomous Driving vehicles.
All these systems are incredibly complex to develop as they are highly dependant on Software development but also on a high level of electrical equipment, resulting in an additional challenge: make all these systems communicate and behave with the rest of the vehicle as expected, in full safety.
It is mandatory that the development and industrialization of these systems are made in a safe and robust manner to avoid any malfunction of these safety oriented systems.
WEBINAR
ISO 26262 (new 2018 edition), the adaptation of the IEC directive 61508 for Electrical and/or Electronic (E/E) automotive systems, is aimed at providing a solution for functional safety issues. Based on a common risk approach, this international standard helps the entire supply chain when dealing with functional safety issues.
During this 1-hour webinar replay, our experts share their deep informative knowledge on how ISO 26262 standard is built, its objectives and what are the key steps for implementing it.
