Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Course
This course aims to provide participants who have an existing basic knowledge of, or experience in, quality & health & Safety management with an understanding of the management systems approach and the requirements of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
The knowledge and skills required to perform an internal audit of part of a environmental management system based on ISO 9001 and based on ISO 45001 and report on the effective implementation and accordance with ISO 19011
Objectives:
Upon completion, successful participants will be able to
- Understand and outline the structure and content of ISO 14001 and its relationship with 9000 & the structure and content of ISO 45001
- Understand and explain the environmental management-related requirements of ISO 14001 & Health & Safety management-related requirements of ISO 45001.
- Explain the process-based environmental management system model for ISO 14001 & 45001, with reference to the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle, and the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of Environmental management systems & Health & Safety management systems
- Explain the role and responsibilities of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an internal EMS & H&Safety management system audit, in accordance with ISO 19011
- Plan, conduct, report and follow up an internal audit of part of Environmental management system based on ISO 14001 and Health & Safety management system based on ISO 45001, and in accordance with ISO 19011
